Chris Hinton- Defensive Tackle | Grade: 5.60

Chris Hinton was by no means known for his speed at Michigan, however, he was a very important player for the Wolverines. Hinton participated in the 40-yard dash and both jumping drills at the combine which will hopefully show prospective teams more of what he has to offer.

Hinton ran a 5.28-second 40-yard dash, which was on the slower side compared to other tackles. His broad jump was also lacking compared to his competition at 106 inches. Where Hinton lacked in the other two drills he made up for with his vertical jump, getting up to 31.5 inches.

Hinton is expected to go in the fifth round due to his lack of speed and energy. He has impressed NFL teams by acting fast during plays and having impressive upper body strength.

Hinton definitely needs some more training before he is ready to actively play at the NFL level, however, he is likely to be a helpful addition to any team.
