Michigan basketball has a must-win game on the schedule tonight as Nebraska comes to town. Here are the odds, a prediction, and how to watch.

Following a disappointing loss to Michigan State on Saturday, Michigan basketball will be back on its home court Tuesday against lowly Nebraska.

The Huskers are 6-15 and 0-10 in the Big Ten conference and so far, the Fred Hoiberg experiment has not worked out at all.

To say Nebraska basketball is a disaster is an understatement. At the same time, Michigan basketball can’t afford any bad losses, and losing to the Huskers would be the worst kind of loss.

Nebraska does have two talented scorers in Bryce McGowens and Alonzo Verge but both shoot below 30 percent from 3-point range despite averaging over 14 a game. McGowens in particular attempts nearly five 3-pointers a game.

Defensively, Nebraska is terrible. The Huskers are 14th in the Big Ten in points allowed and 3-point percentage, as well as 11th in two-point percentage. And without a single 7-footer on the roster, Hunter Dickinson should have a field day.

It should be a nice bounce-back game for guys like Caleb Houstan too. Houstan, Eli Brooks, Terrance Williams, and others should have plenty of open looks from 3-point range.

Before offering up our prediction, we break down the odds. We also look at how to watch and stream Michigan basketball vs Nebraska.

Michigan basketball vs Nebraska odds

According to WynnBET, Michigan basketball is a 14.5-point favorite over Nebraska on Tuesday night at the Crisler Center. The over/under for the game is 144.5 and the money line is -1200 for Michigan basketball and +800 for Nebraska.

Prediction for Michigan basketball vs Nebraska

The Wolverines dominated Nebraska in Lincoln earlier this season defeating the Huskers 102-67 and going off from 3-point range. That’s likely to happen again because Nebraska won’t have any way of slowing down Hunter Dickinson except throwing double teams at him.

That should leave plenty of open looks on the perimeter and against one of the worst 3-point defenses in the Big Ten, Michigan should make around 9-10.

Dickinson said every game was a must-win from now on and I expect Michigan basketball to play like it Tuesday and it will win going away 90-65.
