2. Caleb Houstan may have been overrated

While overrated does have a negative connotation to it, I do not mean it in the drastic way it’s usually used as. Caleb coming into the season was a top 15 recruit, and a projected lottery pick but has not lived up to that status by any means whatsoever.

Caleb’s development has been little to none and his progression to the next level has shown growing pains but at times, he’s shown why he was such a highly rated recruit. Caleb shot a poor 2-9 from the field going 0-4 from deep Friday.

One thing that you cannot knock Caleb for is his short-term memory. Even though Caleb may have missed the previous 3/4 shots, he’s still going to take a shot to try and help the team without any hesitation. Although his ranking was misleading you can see that he’s confident in himself at all times which is an attribute you cannot teach.

I truly don’t think he’s going to be able to declare for the NBA draft this season, he’s going to need a minimum of one more year in order to retain all the draft stock he lost, hopefully, we’ll see some major development throughout this year and hopefully in the offseason.
