My first impression of Michigan football’s 2022 schedule is that it sets up well for the Wolverines to win 10 games at the very least.

The final game of the year is going to be the most difficult. Ohio State is going to be out for revenge in 2022 and the Wolverines still haven’t won in the Horseshoe since 2000. That will be the next drought to break but it’s going to even tougher than winning in 2021.

But there’s seems like a good chance that “The Game” will once again be for the Big Ten East title. That should be the goal every year and as long as the Wolverines can avoid losing at home, that should be the case.

The Iowa game feels like the most likely loss to me. Penn State and Michigan State will both be challenging but the Wolverines are at home and you’d have to give them the edge in those games.

Even if the Wolverines lose a game to MSU or Penn State, as long as Michigan wins two of three against Iowa, Penn State, and MSU, the final game will be worth something important.

4 possible candidates if Harbaugh leaves. dark. Next

Whether Michigan can make it two wins in a row over the Buckeyes is a question we’ll be able to better answer in eight or nine months but the schedule as a whole is quite favorable.
