2. Will free-throw shooting continue to improve?

A big reason why the Wolverines were able to keep the game at arm’s length was completely due to free throw shooting. Wolverines have improved shooting the ball at the line in almost every game, going 10-12 last night against UNLV.

If the Wolverines can get the Wildcats in foul trouble, which Michigan is fantastic at doing, and can capitalize on the free-throw opportunities this game will be completely in control by the Wolverines. But that’s only if they can hit the free throws.

It’s imperative that they do not leave points at the line because this Arizona team is gritty and tough and evidently wants to prove to everyone they deserve to be back on the national stage after a few years since their dominant run from 2014 to 2017.
