Blake Corum bounces back

Blake Corum didn’t have his best game against Michigan State. In fact, it was probably his worst game of the season.

His first-quarter drop of what likely would have been a touchdown has been running on repeat through the mind of many Michigan football fans this week, and probably his own.

Corum was also part of the key fumble on the weird exchange with J.J. McCarthy in the fourth quarter. But that mistake isn’t a reason to go away from McCarthy and it certainly isn’t a reason to doubt Corum going forward who will bounce back in a big way.

Indiana is solid against the run and the defense is the strength of this team. The Hoosiers allow 3.7 yards per attempt compared to 5.3 gained per rush for Michigan.

The Wolverines offensive line didn’t play well against MSU and that group will have a better game and so will Corum — who gets over 100 yards and a touchdown thanks to a big run or two.
