Wings

Franz Wagner: A+

Franz Wagner was the best player on the floor tonight in my opinion and continues to completely dominate both sides of the floor. He is becoming one of the best NBA Draft prospects in the conference and is probably the best two way player in the Big Ten.

Wagner did it all tonight for Michigan basketball. He finished with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting, grabbed 10 rebounds, and had a game high four steals. He set the tone early for the Michigan defense and they never let up the entire game.

Isaiah Livers: A

Isaiah Livers came out from the first possession of the game and made it clear he was going to be aggressive and look for his shot. Livers scored seven of Michigan’s first 12 points including a monster dunk and a three in transition.

Not only was Livers aggressive on offense, I think he played his best defensive game of the season and had three big time blocks.

In the article that I wrote making predictions for this game, I said that the wings for Michigan had to show up and take advantage of that matchup. Livers and Wagner both did that and had very good performances.
