What’s next

The next step or steps for the Michigan surround three players: Christopher, Isaiah Todd and Isaiah Livers.

Each player has a question about whether they will play for Juwan Howard and Michigan next season. Livers has to decide if he wants to stay in the NBA draft or night and right now, that seems like it’s very much up in the air, based on how the process plays out.

As far as Todd is concerned, the issue is whether or not he will actually sign with the Wolverines after being committed for months. His high school coach says he believes he will, but only time will tell.

Then, Monday, we will find out if Christopher is coming. Of all the pieces, he might be the most important. Todd is extremely talented and will be a really good player, but having a dominant guard like Christopher is something this team needs, from a ball-handling and scoring perspective.

If all three end up in Ann Arbor next year, then watch out. But even if it’s just Todd and Christopher, this team will be loaded and soon, we will have all the pieces to the puzzle.
