#9: 03/04/2018 – Jon Teske’s poster propels Michigan to second-straight Big Ten Tournament Title

It was the poster heard around the world.

The 2018 Big Ten Tournament was a battle for this Michigan team.

After narrowly edging Iowa in overtime in their first game of the tournament, the Wolverines would later avenge their loss against Nebraska earlier in the season and routed them in the quarterfinals of the tournament.

In the semis, the Wolverines matched up against Michigan State, and would walk through Miles Bridges and Jaren Jackson Jr., straight to their second consecutive Big Ten Tournament Championship game.

With the Wolverines storming past Michigan State in the semis of the 2018 Big Ten Tournament, the team found themselves in yet, another battle against the Purdue Boilermakers, a team that had beaten the Wolverines in the two previous meetings that season.

However, it was Michigan basketball that would come out on top to claim its second consecutive Big Ten Tournament title, highlighted by sophomore center Jon Teske posterizing Isaac Haas, creating Michigan’s ‘GIF’ of the decade:
