Offensive grade: B

There is plenty of like about what the Wolverines did on offense. Henning is a top-100 player and he’s a perfect fit for what Josh Gattis wants to do on offense. He’s going to be a dangerous weapon and a guy that could make an impact right away next season.

Blake Corum, the four-star running back that ranks 119th in 2020 is another player fans should be excited about. He was dominant his senior year against a national schedule and he should be in the mix next season with Zach Charbonnet and Hassan Haskins.

The problem is that Henning and Corum are the only top-200 recruits on offense in this class. Zak Zinter, Jeffrey Persi, Roman Wilson and Matthew Hibner are ranked in the top 414 of overall prospects.

Wilson is another wide receiver that fits the new offensive system and he has a little more size than Henning and guys like Giles Jackson and Mike Sainristil. Hibner is a tight end that was ranked outside the top 1,000 a few months back and is now 414.

There is solid depth along the offensive line but the loss of four-star QB JD Johnson hurts, especially since the Wolverines couldn’t land CJ Stroud to replace him and instead settled for three-star Dan Villari.
