When Will Michigan Beat Ohio State?

That is the million-dollar question that needs to be asked. For Michigan, it doesn’t appear to be anytime soon. Ohio State owns this rivalry because of coaching, recruiting, and how they perform in this game. It’s as simple as that. Michigan has to take a look at themselves in the mirror and decide whether or not they really want to fight to be better than the Buckeyes.

With a lot of talent expected back in Columbus, the future looks just as bright as their present. This could be the start of a dynasty down there. For Michigan, it will turn to a new quarterback, possibly retooled lines and a different secondary. That doesn’t sit well on paper for 2020. Harbaugh has to earn his paycheck by working tirelessly to break that trend.

In the meantime, Michigan’s best chance to upset the Buckeyes may not come until 2021. With J.J McCarthy in the fold for that class, he is on record to not obtain an offer from OSU that led him to choose Michigan over Ohio State. Otherwise, as sad as it is to say it may be a long time until Michigan ever beats the Buckeyes again.
