Michigan has momentum

It’s crazy how quickly things can change and just a few weeks ago, it seemed like this Michigan football team was headed in a different direction.

But after dominating wins over Notre Dame, Maryland, Michigan State and Indiana, with 25 points being the closest game, the Wolverines are peaking at the right time.

While the team isn’t going to win the Big Ten championship and probably won’t be able to make the Rose Bowl, it can still achieve plenty simply by defeating Ohio State. That game is the season and it’s a career-defining moment for Jim Harbaugh.

Michigan will be at home, it’s playing as well as it probably has throughout the Harbaugh era and has a senior quarterback. This is the best chance for the Maize and Blue to end the losing streak to Ohio State.

This team feels like the 2015 team that closed the season strong and won 10 games under the direction of Jake Rudock. Yet, even that team couldn’t beat Ohio State.

That was the first year of the Harbaugh era and the talent is now there. This team has an explosive offense, a confident defense and all the momentum in the world.

Will it equal a win over Ohio State? Only time will tell.
