Maryland

Over the years, Harbaugh has had a great record at home, losing only four games in four seasons. Yet, the Wolverines have been more mediocre on the road and have nearly lost a few times to teams well below their talent level.

Michigan football has had difficult games on the road against Indiana, Minnesota and others like Northwestern. Yet, during Harbaugh’s four seasons, UM has dominated the Terps, with the smallest margin of victory being 21 points.

However, with Maryland sandwiched between Notre Dame, Michigan State and a bye week, it’s possible Michigan overlooks a team that could be better than we think, especially with the addition of Josh Jackson at quarterback who transferred from Virginia Tech.

Jackson threw for nearly 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns as a freshman for the Hokies in 2017. He also ran for more than 300 yards and three scores. Certainly, he will be a threat and with two wins over Texas in recent years, as well as a close loss at home to Ohio State in 2018, Maryland isn’t afraid of the big dogs and it’s possible the Terps one great week in 2019 could come Nov. 2.
