Meyer owns Harbaugh and it’s more clear than ever

There was no debate that Urban Meyer owned Michigan going into Saturday’s game. After all, he had a 6-0 record and was 3-0 against Jim Harbaugh. However, if the Wolverines could have beaten him, on his own field, in a game of this magnitude, it could have changed everything.

Instead, we got a reminder that the more we think things change, the more they stay the same.

Against a defense that many people thought was the best the Wolverines have fielded since the 1997 National Championship team, Meyer’s Buckeyes scored 62 points. They also racked up more than 500 yards against a defense that hadn’t given up more than 24 points and hadn’t allowed 400 yards all season.

More than anything, it showed that when it comes to winning The Game, Meyer is the master. He just knows how to get his team prepared for Michigan. Remember in 2015, when the Buckeyes were coming into the Michigan game fresh off a bad loss to Michigan State. All OSU did that year was beat the Wolverines 42-13.

This time around, it was something similar. Everyone thought Michigan had a chance and it didn’t and maybe Michigan won’t ever have a chance as long as Meyer is the head coach.
