Michigan Football: 5 predictions for the Wolverines against Indiana
Ramsey will a good preview of Dwayne Haskins
I am in no way saying that Peyton Ramsey is on the same level as Dwayne Haskins of Ohio State, but as far as passers go in the Big Ten, he’s pretty solid.
Ramsey is averaging 233 passing yards per game and completing 67 percent of his passes to go along with 17 touchdown passes. His downside is that he has thrown 11 interceptions. Yet, it is his first full season as a starter.
Ramsey had a big game against Maryland a week ago and showed a nice touch on the ball down the field. With five receivers that have more than 300 yards on the season, expect Ramsey and the Hoosiers to take some shots down the field early, especially if Lavert Hill is out.
Another thing is that Ramsey can run and running quarterbacks always seem to bother Michigan. Ramsey has over 200 yards on the ground and four touchdowns, so he doesn’t run as much as say Trace McSorley, however, he will run when he needs too like Shea Patterson. Ultimately, the Michigan defense will get the better of Ramsey, yet with his arm and his legs, he will create some big plays for the Hoosiers.
