Winovich will go nuts

There is maybe no player on the Michigan football team that is more fun to watch than senior defensive end Chase Winovich.

After deciding to return to Michigan football instead of going to the NFL draft, Winovich has played as a man possessed. Whether it’s stopping the run or rushing the passer,  Winovich always plays like his hair is on fire and in a lot of ways, he reminds me of a young Clay Matthews.

He’s stout against the run, quick off the edge and he just has a nose for the football. Depending on how things go, I don’t see why he wouldn’t be a late first-round pick. He has all the tools to be a great NFL player and against Indiana, he will display all of them.

Winovich loves Michigan and you can bet he wants to make his final game at the Big House count. He’s coming in with 11 tackles for loss and four sacks, well against Indiana, I think he sacks Peyton Ramsey twice. And even if he doesn’t reach that mark, he’s going to have a huge impact on the game. But seeing as Indiana is 10th in the Big Ten in sacks allowed, watch out.
