Michigan destroys Rutgers again 48-16 (7-0)

Simply put, Rutgers has to be among the worst teams when it comes to the Power 5 conferences. There is no shame losing 52-3 to Ohio State. Yet, there should be plenty of shame for losing to Kansas 55-14. That’s downright embarrassing.

More from Michigan Football

When Rutgers first came into the Big Ten, the program is not as bad as it is now. This is what I was talking about when I said the Big Ten would be better off without Rutgers. Screw the New York market, not a single person in the Big Apple cares about the Scarlet Knights. Well, except for the parents of the players and coaches who may potentially live there.

That being said, the players for Rutgers still have a pulse. By November, they should be a little bit better, I mean you would think right? Right now, they rank 115 in points allowed and 120th in points scored, so they really can’t get much worse.

It’s easy to see Michigan not really getting up for this game. The Wolverines will know they can just show up and win, so the Scarlet Knights will probably get a touchdown or two in garbage time, which will make the final score look much closer than the game actually was, even when that final score is something like 48-16.
