Michigan Football: Predicting every Big Ten game for the Wolverines
Michigan beats Wisconsin in a slugfest 16-13 (4-0)
Last season, Wisconsin beat the Wolverines by double digits, however, the game could have easily gone the other way. Brandon Peters started at quarterback, yet he didn’t finish. He also had a terrible fumble that was quite costly.
Johnathan Taylor is a tremendous talent and rushed 19 times for 132 yards last season. Michigan football will have to do a better job containing him this time around to win. But the other thing Michigan needs to do is shut down Alex Hornibrook.
Hornibrook wasn’t spectacular against Michigan last season but he threw a touchdown and played much better than Peters/John O’Korn. Wisconsin had the better quarterback, that was the biggest difference in the game.
This year, Michigan football has the best signal caller. If the two teams can stalemate in the run game, which is easier said than done for the Wolverines, Patterson and Hornibrook should decide the outcome. If that happens to be the case, Michigan will come out on top.
