Michigan Football: 3 things to watch against Notre Dame
What coach needs a win more?
When you are the head coach of Michigan football or at Notre Dame, there is always pressure and when it comes to Brian Kelly and Jim Harbaugh, both face plenty of pressure heading into this game and this season.
Kelly has a solid resume in South Bend but his one trip to the national championship game was six years ago and soon, Irish fans are going to be clamoring for a trip to the College Football Playoff. Notre Dame has been in contention in recent years, just like Michigan was in 2016, but neither school has really made a serious threat at cracking the top four.
Yet, Kelly at least has shown his ability to beat good teams. Harbaugh has yet to do that. He beat some ranked teams at home in his first two seasons, now it’s time to do it on the road.
Michigan football fans know Harbaugh has made tremendous strides the past few seasons. But now, it’s time to see results and Saturday night in South Bend offers Harbaugh the perfect chance to show the entire college football world that the Wolverines are back on track.
