Michigan Football: 3 things to watch against Notre Dame
Two of the best go back at it
If you are a fan of college football than you have to be excited about Michigan and Notre Dame renewing their rivalry. The two teams will again meet next October in Ann Arbor and after that, who knows when the next showdowns will be.
Over the years, there have been some great games between the two programs. Michigan football fans will think about Denard Robinson’s heroics in the rivalry, as he twice beat Notre Dame with game-winning drives, including the touchdown pass to Roy Roundtree in the Big House that UM fans will never forget.
The fact that both teams come into the game with high hopes gives it a feeling of nostalgia. It’s a big game for both programs but it’s also a big game for the entire world of college football. One team will announce itself as a playoff contender Saturday night, while the other will be left looking for answers.
Hopefully, this game will become a consistent part of the schedule again, yet for now, we have to enjoy it, because, after 2019, we don’t know when it will happen again.
