Miles Boykin could be a difference maker

While the showdown between Michigan football and Notre Dame will probably be a defensive struggle, it could be decided by whichever offense can break through with a big play and one guy capable of doing that for the Fighting Irish is Miles Boykin.

Boykin, who is in his fourth year at Notre Dame, doesn’t have a ton of production in his career. Last season, he caught 12 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns. However, he made a name for himself with three receptions for 102 yards and the game-winning touchdown against LSU in the Citrus Bowl last season.

Michigan has two legit starting corners in Long and Hill, however, both are below 6-foot and if there is a jump ball situation with Boykin down the field, it could be hard for them to win that.

Boykin is also 6-feet-4 and 225 pounds. He’s a beast of a man and outside of Wimbush, he could be the most explosive player on the Notre Dame offense and if he has a big day, it’s hard to see the Wolverines winning the game.
