After posting just 29 receptions in his first two seasons playing for Michigan, Jehu Chesson had a breakout campaign in 2015 and he could have one of the biggest seasons a Wolverines pass-catcher has had in sometime next season.

For the season in 2015, Chesson caught 50 passes for 764 yards and scored 10 total touchdowns. He had a yards-per-reception average of 15.3 and flashed his return skills early in the season with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Players who can impact the game in multiple ways always appeal to the NFL. So do players who can make explosive players and that’s something Chesson can do. He also closed last season really strong, averaging seven receptions for 126 yards in each of his last four games. He also torched Vernon Hargreaves, a corner projected to go in the first round of this year’s draft for a slew of big receptions in the Citrus Bowl.

Chesson is a player on the rise and it wouldn’t be a shock to see him get selected in the first two or three rounds at next year’s draft.
