You just had a feeling that Purdue fans were going to let Michigan star Yaxel Lendeborg have it on Tuesday night with the Wolverines taking on the Boilermakers. As you've probably seen by now, the Michigan standout called out Purdue in a profanity-laced video that went viral not long ago.
Elliot Cadeau throws subtle shade at Duke that Michigan fans are going to love
Dusty May addressed things and let his playmaker know he's got to make better decisions. He has learned his lesson, but towards the end of the action against Purdue, Boilermakers fans indeed were going after Yaxel, sending expletives his way. How did Lendeborg respond? He took the high road, dancing things off, which probably infuriated the home fans. It's something the Michigan faithful surely have no problem with, however:

Yaxel Lendeborg had no problem with Purdue fans letting him have it against Michigan
Can you blame Lendeborg for being so happy late in the contest? The Wolverines were on 'upset alert' for this one, but Michigan ended up posting a 91-80 win over the No. 7 team in the country. If anything, that result further convinced people that UM has what it takes to win it all this season.
As for Lendeborg, he was once again strong, finishing with 13 points and seven rebounds in the win. On the campaign, the 6-9, 240-pounder is averaging 14.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest, while also adding more than three assists per showing.
The veteran big man has been a major reason why Michigan is 25-1 on the season thus far and on the verge of winning the Big Ten regular season title. Soon enough, the Big Ten tournament will get here and the Wolverines will be ready to send another statement.
And then once March Madness arrives, Michigan is expected to be given the best odds to win it all. Purdue is also going to be a team to watch and the Boilermakers and their fans would surely love nothing more than a shot at revenge against Michigan once the postseason gets here. Lendeborg will be ready to give Purdue headaches once again, and he'll do so with a smile on his face.
