Michigan football recruiting is heating up just like the weather, and included in this is DB/RB Terrence Barner. Barner will be taking a visit later this month to Ann Arbor, starting on the 22nd.

New York Prospect Terrence Barner has told me personally he has locked in a visit to the Wolverines later this month on the 22nd.
He said the following on his upcoming visits:

The 5-8 165 lb. prospect is in the Class of 2027. The Nittany Lions look like the team to beat, as that is exactly what Barner has said previously. He currently is unranked on 247 sports but holds offers from Akron, Syracuse, and West Virginia. The odds are that Barner will shoot up recruiting boards as his tape begins to be noticed. It's only a matter of time before he garners more attention with top programs such as Michigan football, Penn State, and even Ohio State showing interest.
Although the Nittany Lions are Barner's top program at the moment, if Michigan football were to prioritize him, they could likely lock out this recruitment with an offer. Terrence is an underrated prospect with a lot to prove to scouts and recruiting board managers. Any offer at this stage in his recruitment would bode well for the school offering.
Perhaps the most exciting part about the Wolverines showing interest in an underrated prospect such as Barner is the history they have of developing such prospects. Just look at Ronnie Bell. He was a three-star prospect coming out of high school and was eventually the best receiver on the team. Rod Moore was a three-star in high school, too. With a coaching staff like Moore's, there's always going to be diamonds in the rough. Could Terrence Barner be the next one?
