In addition to a key game on the field for the Michigan Wolverines, there will be several key recruits on campus for Michigan this weekend, including multiple five-star recruits.

One of the recruits who will visit is five-star EDGE Kameron McGee, who is 6-foot-4, 234 pounds, and ranked No. 8 overall in the 2028 class, via the 247 Sports composite rankings. This is according to Allen Trieu of 247 Sports.

McGee is out of Chicago. The Wolverines have a strong presence in the state of Illinois. The 2028 class might seem like a long ways away, but it's a great sign to get a player of this caliber on campus this early in the process.

In addition to McGee, five-star running back commitment Savion Hiter, who is committed to Michigan football in the 2026 class, will be back on campus for a visit, according to a post from Hiter on X.

Flip target is visiting Michigan football

The Wolverines are still trying to add to their 2026 class. One position that is being targeted is linebacker, and a top target is four-star linebacker Nick Abrams.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker committed to Georgia, is visiting the Wolverines this weekend, according to EJ Holland. Michigan football wants at least one more linebacker in the 2026 class. Abrams would be stellar. He's a three-down linebacker. He can do it all -- blitz, cover, and stop the run.

Oregon has been pushing for Abrams, along with Michigan. Yet, the Wolverines will have him in Ann Arbor for the "Maize Out." It should be a great atmosphere, and with the defense flying around, maybe it will be enough to convince Abrams to flip.
