When Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore takes to social media, it usually means good news for the Wolverines on the recruiting trail.

That's the vibe on Sunday as Moore tweeted out, "Yes sir! #GoBlue."

Moore usually posts that on X ahead of commitments. Michigan football had 20 official visitors on campus for Victors Weekend, so it's not that surprising.

Good news was expected for the Wolverines. There was actually some good news on Saturday night as Jonathan Brown, a three-star running back from Ohio, committed.

The post by Moore is exciting because there are some elite prospects on campus. It's always hard to guess exactly who the commitment is coming from, but there are some other clues, especially after other Michigan football assistants teased the commitment, too.

D-line commitment is coming

Based on the activity of other Michigan coaches, it feels like the Wolverines have landed a defensive line commitment.

Lou Esposito, who has been on fire in this class, landing McHale Blade and Alister Vallejo this month alone, posted "trenchmobkid" on X with three eyeball emojis.

That feels like he's saying a third defensive line commitment is coming. Of course, Michigan football fans are probably hoping this is coming from either elite EDGE Carter Meadows, who is ranked as a five-star recruit, according to On3, or Titan Davis, a four-star D-line recruit ranked No. 101 overall, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings in the 2026 class.

Jackson Ford, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound EDGE who is ranked 216th overall, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings, was also on an official visit this weekend, along with Julian Walker, a 6-foot-6, 230-pound pass rusher from South Carolina. He's ranked 176th overall.

So, if we are reading the tea leaves correctly, one of those four players has committed to Michigan and will announce it soon.
