Coming out of the Maryland game, Michigan football has to be feeling good about itself. The Wolverines played one of their best games of the season.
It was exactly the kind of performance Michigan fans have been waiting for. It wasn't with some worrisome moments, though, mostly due to injuries.
Max Bredeson, the heart and soul of the Michigan football team, left the game in the first half and didn't return. Bredeson was spotted on crutches during the game, although he kept flashing the thumbs-up.
On Monday, Sherrone Moore offered an update on Bredeson, saying that the injury didn't look as bad and that he was "hoping" he would be able to play against Ohio State on Saturday.
#Michigan HC Sherrone Moore says fullback Max Bredeson’s injury didn’t look the best, but hoping he can come back this weekend.

Michigan ran the ball well just fine in Bredeson's absence, but the fullback was vital to the win a year ago. He's needed, especially in those key moments when you need a yard or two. Add Jordan Marshall back the mix, who is expected back after missing the Maryland game, and the Wolverines coud have a recipe for sucess on the ground, which is vital to winning "The Game."

Sherrone Moore also said that Semaj Morgan would be able to play this weekend. He didn't play at Maryland, and Andrew Marsh did well as the kickoff/punt returner.

Ernest Hausmann also didn't make the trip to Maryland. There were rumors of the senior linebacker and team captain quitting. Sherrone Moore said on Monday that Hausmann was "day to day", so it sounds like there's a good chance he will be out there.
Hopefully, the Wolverines will have both captains, Hausmann and Bredeson, for the most important game of the season.
