Michigan football looked as good as it has all season on Saturday against Maryland. Unfortunately, the 45-20 win for the Wolverines didn't come without a cost.
Max Bredeson, the Michigan football captain, and the best fullback in America, had to leave the game due to an injury, and was later seen leaving the field on crutches.
Bredeson was part of a 223-yard rushing effort in the victory on Sunday, but after the win, Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore said that "it doesn't look good" in reference to playing against Ohio State next week.

Frankly, knowing Bredeson, the injury will have to be pretty-darn severe to miss a single play. This will be his final chance to play against Ohio State, unless there is a playoff rematch.
So we'll see what happens. It would be a huge blow if Bredeson is unable to go. He's the heart and soul of the team.
Good news about Jordan Marshall
Not all the injury news was negative after the game. Jordan Marshall dressed out but didn't play against Maryland. Moore said that Marshall could have played, which bodes well for next week against Ohio State.

Max Bredeson will be further evaluated when the Wolverines get back to Ann Arbor tonight.
Marshall suffered an injury against Northwestern. That led to Bryson Kuzdal getting 20 carries on Saturday. Kuzdal turned that into 100 rushing yards.
The Wolverines ran for 223 yards total without Marshall or Justice Haynes. That's when you know you can run block, when the other team knows it's coming and still can't stop it.
Of course, that's easier to do with Max Bredeson on the field.
