Sherrone Moore knows that beating Ohio is a tall order any season, but beating this particular Buckeyes team might be Michigan's tallest order yet.
And that's why he's asking for help from the anticipated 107,000-plus fans that will be in attendance Saturday. He wants them to make as much noise as possible to bring the energy level up to where it's never been before.

"Make itt the loudest place it's ever been. I don't know what the decibels have been or what they could be, but we need to reach peak on Saturday," Moore said.
Crowd noise could help Michigan start fast
The Wolverines are double-digit underdogs at home and the best way for an underdog to win a rivalry with a fast start. If the Michigan defense can force a turnover from Julian Sayin on Ohio's first possession or get a big play in special teams (blocked kick, punt return for touchdown, etc.), it would get the crowd in a frenzy that might make the Buckeyes uncomfortable.
Fact is Ohio hasn't played in a lot of tough road environments this year. The closest comparison might've been the Washington game back at the end of September and that was more about the Buckeyes jumping through multiple time zones than dealing with a hostile crowd.
For as good as Sayin has been this year, it's still his first tme facing Michigan on the road. Two years ago, the crowd made Kyle McCord just tense enough to make a couple of mistakes. It could happen again and Moore is challenging the Michigan fans to make it happen again.
Moore isn't worried about Bryce Underwood
Underwood is also playing in his first Ohio game. The 18-year-old freshman has played in some tough environments, but this game is different. Moore said that Underwood understands the rivalry, and it's something the two have talked about since spring camp.
"He's well-educated on the rivalry. He knows everything about it. Everybody knows what this game is all about. It will be about going through the routine and just doing what he's done up to this point to prepare for the game," Moore said.
