2. The Ohio State win
Michigan's three-game winning streak was bound to come to an end on November 30th. They entered the shoe as 23-point underdogs in an unwinnable environment. The Buckeyes were foaming at the mouth to get revenge and regain their spot as the Big Ten champion. Neither happened that day.
With a preschool passing game, some help from a scared Ryan Day and misses from Jayden Fielding, Davis Warren leaned on his running backs, defense and kicker for an upset reminiscent of 1969. Kalel Mullings concluded his career with a masterful performance. Their was no Colston Loveland and Donovan Edwards got knocked out, so Mullings had to do it all himself.
The defense reigned with an iron fist. They made Ohio State's offense look like a shell of themselves, compared to how they have appeared in the playoffs. No one and I mean no one could have saw this coming. Wink Martindale made a lot of social media trolls eat their words with a wizardly performance.
Dominic Zvada accounted for more points than Jeremiah Smith did. He belonged in the Lou Groza conversation and will be the favorite to win it in 2025. Michigan football would not have won that day without his leg, nor would they have beaten Bama again.
