3. @ Nebraska (September 20th)

On paper, this seems almost like a carbon copy of the Oklahoma game. A brutal environment early in the season against a team with a very talented quarterback and a good transfer class. The Huskers have become more aggressive with NIL and are building a talented roster.

Lincoln is an extremely difficult place to play, and it seems pretty likely that this is a night game. The Huskers started 2024 on fire, vaulting into the top 25 before going cold and finishing the regular season 6-6. They have the #1 quarterback from the 2024 class leading their offense in Dylan Raiola. While Bryce Underwood is far and away the better prospect, Raiola is nonetheless an extremely dangerous quarterback.

It's going to be an electric environment. A lot of fans probably remember the 2021 matchup between these two, in which an elite Michigan team nearly lost to a Nebraska team that finished 3-9. This is not an easy place to win, especially at night.

Lastly, it's another early test. If this game were later in the season, it might not be on this list. But given that it's the first Big Ten game of the year, it's going to be very tough. But again, this will be a great test for this team, and will give us a great idea of the way the 2025 season will go.

While the Wolverines play only one team that ended the 2024 season ranked, their schedule is no joke. Add in the fact that Michigan football plays only six games at home, and it becomes pretty tough. This team is going to be tested, and it'll be fascinating to see how they perform.
