Two Michigan football recrutiing targets will be making their commitment announcements in the next month according to posts on X.

Four-star running back Iverson Howard previously announced a commitment date. However, he changed it due to a delay he said was from "inconvenience."

At the time, it was hard to know where Howard stood with Michigan football. He's got an official visit set for June and now, a decision date is set for June 18th.

Michigan football, Florida State, and Maryland will each host Howard, who is ranked No. 382 overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. Michigan has some other running backs coming for visits and the board isn't clear. The visit on June 7th should provide more clarity but the Terps won't host him for a visit until after he commits.

It's still hard to read where this is going but if Michigan football decides to push and make him a priority, I still feel like the Wolverines have got a good chance to get him. That's just one man's opinion though and anything can happen in recruiting.

Ja'Don Blair also sets commitment date

There's no doubt about where Ja'Don Blair sits on the Michigan football board.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound safety is ranked No. 160 overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He's also going to take official visits to Michigan, South Carolina, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Florida State.

This is a recruitment that feels very winnable for the Wolverines. A lot of going to depend on official visits. Blair will reportedly make an announcement on July 5th, so the Wolverines will get to shoot their shot before the elite defensive back makes his announcement.
