Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore knows a thing or two about the offensive line. He was a former offensive line standout for the Oklahoma Sooners under Bob Stoops.

Moore was also the offensive line coach when Michigan football won the Joe Moore Award in back-to-back seasons. In terms of developing offensive line talent, he's as good as it gets in college football and that's a huge reason why the Wolverines are three-time Big Ten champions.

The defensive line and the defense played a big part in that too. Every position did. But when Michigan football was great and winning championships consistently, the offensive line was always one of the best in college football. It was also sending guys to the NFL.

Michigan has done that for the past three years. There are double-digit Wolverines in the NFL right now. But as far as next season is concerned, Michigan will have to replace five starters. Moore expressed confidence in his Ol-line though and said he was "excited" for Giovanni El-Hadi, among other things.

Michigan football offensive line 'should be good'

"Excited for Gio, and the O-line should be good," Moore said via The Wolverine. "Obviously, we lost guys, but the years before we lost guys. That's gonna happen. Trevor and Zinter couldn't play there for 10 years."

El-Hadi is going to start at guard opposite Josh Priebe. Greg Crippen is expected to take over at center, but he and El-Hadi have All-Big Ten potential. El-Hadi started games two years ago and was a full-time starter, so I expect him to perform at a high level.

Sherrone Moore believes that too.
