Predicting who Michigan Football's next 3 commitments could be
By Nick Popio
3. Jordon Davison RB
This is one of the biggest remaining dominoes left on the board. Steve Wiltfong tweeted on Tuesday that Davison is down to Michigan and Oregon and a decision is imminent. With Michigan football just accepting two running backs, it could be Oregon, but no crystal balls have been updated in anyone's favor yet. He was leaning towards Ohio State, but that doesn't appear to be the case anymore.
Some have called him the No.1 back in the class and it's clear why he would want to come to Ann Arbor to be the bell cow of the offense. Excuses are beginning to circulate as to why he is souring on Ohio State. The Buckeyes already took in Bo Jackson at the position, but Michigan football would be stupid to pass up on another running back, even if it means taking three in the class. Davison is just too special.
Not to take away anything from Jasper Parker or Donovan Jackson, but having the oppurtunity to nab a five-star back for this specific offense can result in more championships and awards. Besides the way the offense uses running backs benefits all of them, so the more the merrier. Of course, there's always the chance that Davison ends up being the next Derrick Green, but with the recent success of the running backs, those myths are being vanished.
