Predicting who Michigan Football's next 3 commitments could be
By Nick Popio
2. Andrew Olesh TE
247sports insiders, Rivals future forecasts, and On3's Steve Wiltfong have proclaimed their confidence for Olesh to commit to Michigan football sooner or later. He's another highly coveted tight end that seems to be growing on trees for the Wolverines these days. This would be Steve Casula's most impressive feat during his short time on the job.
Olesh would be a nice complimentary piece for Brady Hart and Jadyn Davis to throw too in those two tight end sets. Stealing Olesh away from Penn State after he visited there so many times would only light the fires in Happy Valley and add fuel to this rivalry to bring it to new heights. These are the types of players that James Franklin needs to compete and dethrone Michigan, not the other way around.
The first comp that comes to mind would be Devin Funchess because he is also built like a wide receiver who was listed as a tight end. Funchess was one of the lone bright spots during his time, but probably didn't have the pro career he had hoped for. Olesh's recruitment is heating up and with his senior campaign on the horizon, a commitment could be right around the corner for the prized recruit.
