Big Ten Media Days have arrived and that also means it's time for preseason predictions and accolades. On Monday, the Big Ten Media poll was released and Michigan football, the three-time defending champs, were picked fourth.

The Wolverines haven't won this new Big Ten though which now features 18 teams after the additions of USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington. Ohio State and Oregon were picked first and second and all of the voters predicted they would make the College Football Playoff.

I'm not sure about Michigan football being picked fourth, but the Wolverines have questions to answer. People don't know how good the quarterback is going to be or how much the Wolverines will miss Jim Harbaugh, one of the best football coaches on the planet.

Will Johnson was a big reason the Wolverines won the last two Big Ten titles and the national championship and the former five-star cornerback was picked as Big Ten Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.

Michigan football players earn Big Ten preseason honors

Johnson was also among three Michigan football players who received Big Ten preseason honors. The Big Ten does their preseason team a little differently. There are 12 players who are selected and they aren't based on position.

Michigan football was one of three programs to have multiple players selected. Johnson earned Big Ten Preseason honors as did defensive back Mason Graham and tight end Colston Loveland.

Johnson, a cornerback, is also the top-rated player in EA Sports College Football 25. Ohio State had four players make the list, while Oregon had two. Penn State, Rutgers, and Iowa each had one.
