Michigan football appears to be regaining the momentum it lost in a big way. Today multiple predictions came in for Michigan to flip elite Notre Dame commit Ivan Taylor. The Wolverines have been battling Alabama and Notre Dame for Taylor's services, and it appears that Michigan may come out victorious.

Ranked as a top 50 player in the nation, Taylor is Notre Dame's highest-ranked commit and would be a huge win for Michigan football. Taylor would be Michigan's second top-100 safety commit, with Kainoa Winston already committed.

The Wolverines turned up the heat on Taylor following other safety target JaDon Blair's commitment to Notre Dame, and it appears to have worked out for the Wolverines. Ivan Taylor is a guy who could finish the 2025 cycle as a five star with a big senior season.

A Florida native, Taylor plays some of the best competition in the country and has all the tools to be a superstar at the next level. The predictions for Taylor to flip to Michigan football followed Sherrone Moore posting two tweets hinting at commitments. While the first tweet was believed to be directed towards elite tight end Andrew Olesh, who is set to commit on the 8th, the second tweet confused many people prior to the predictions coming in.

Lamar Morgan has done a great job with recruiting thus far. If Taylor flips, Morgan will have two top 100 defensive backs committed in the 2025 class. That's a tremendous start for a coach with no prior power five experience. Keep an eye out for Taylor's commitment, as it is believed that it could happen at any point. Go blue!
