With two Joe Moore award winning lines and a national championship one, it begs the question of which line was the best over the last three years?

It took until the fourth game for Michigan's line to enforce their will on a Maryland team that would not go away. Blake Corum ran for 250 yards himself as J.J. McCarthy was winning the quarterback competition. On October 1st they went into a hostile environment a salted it away with a late touchdown by Corum that was opened up wide by the right side of the line.

Two weeks later the line of Ryan Hayes, Trevor Keegan, Olu Oluwatimi, Zak Zinter and Karsen Barnhart demolished Penn State and basically won the Joe Moore award again with a rare 400 yard plus rushing performance. Then they went into Columbus and gave the Buckeyes another rude awakening thanks to Donovan Edwards and the holes he glided through to win there for the first time since 2000.

This was arguably the most impressive performance of the three-year run. The right side just let Edwards run free for two back-breaking runs that sent the crowd to the exits. Oluwatimi would go on to win the Rimington trophy and the Zinter/Keegan partnership would return for another run at a title that was within reach.
