Michigan football wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy has been putting in work on the recruiting trail and it's starting to come to fruition.

It was reported on Thursday night that the Wolverines will host four-star wideout Andrew Marsh, a top-50 recruit overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings, for an official visit, canceling his trip to Oklahoma.

That's the second visit in a few weeks, but it's not the only positive development with wide receiver recruiting for Bellamy and Michigan football.

Michigan football trending to land WR Phillip Wright

Phillip Wright is a three-star wideout of Louisiana who just visited last weekend. He's 5-foot-11, 160 pounds and he can absolutely fly. As a sophomore, he ran the 100-meter dash in 10.62. He also ran the 200-meter dash in 21.61.

That's real speed and as we all know, you can't coach speed. Wright's recruitment is interesting. Georgia and Georgia Tech have been the other players outside of Michigan. Wright's 247 Sports profile says that he has an official visit to Georgia this weekend.

If he keeps that visit, then Georgia might be a real threat to land his commitment. However, if he doesn't take that visit, all signs point to a Michigan football commitment. EJ Holland of The Wolverine projected Wright to the Wolverines earlier this week.

Now, Josh Henschke of The Maize and Blue Review (Rivals) has also projected Wright to U-M. Steve Lorenz logged a crystal ball on Thursday too, so Michigan football is now trending for the commitment of Wright who is ranked No. 526 in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

Michigan has an 86.5 percent chance of landing Wright's commitment according to the On3 prediction machine.
