Michigan football recruiting has picked up some steam after landing the commitment of four-star Texas cornerback Jayden Sanders. Sanders was a huge pickup at a position of need. Michigan's momentum should only continue to build, as the Wolverines are heavy favorites for an elite recruit at another position of need -- wide receiver.

Top 100 Texas wide receiver Andrew Marsh is set to announce his commitment on August 20th. Marsh is picking between Texas, USC, Washington, Colorado, and Michigan. Michigan football currently holds all the predictions for Marsh, and Marsh is fresh off of a visit to Ann Arbor for the BBQ at the Big House.

Ron Bellamy has made Marsh the top priority in the wide receiver room this Summer, and Marsh has responded very well to that, having visited Michigan multiple times this Summer.

The top-100 wideout would be a huge land for the Wolverines, as wide receiver recruiting was generally a struggle under Jim Harbaugh (minus the 2017 class). Especially in the NIL era, it's very difficult to land elite wide receivers. This would be a huge win for Michigan and Ron Bellamy.

As of right now, it would be a shock if Marsh were to pick a school other than Michigan. All signs point towards the Wolverines, and getting him in for a visit at the end of July should be the icing on the cake for the Wolverines. Now, in the NIL era there's no such thing as a guarantee. A team desperate for an elite receiver could offer a very enticing amount of money, and it would be hard to turn that down.

But the Wolverines have become more competitive in that field and are working to ensure that recruits are taken care of. Marsh genuinely seems to love Michigan. While the in-state Longhorns can't be counted out for a Texas recruit, this one is setting up to be a big win for Michigan football.

Marsh would be the fifth top 100 recruit in Michigan's 2025 class, which is currently ranked as the #14 class in the country with 16 commits. Sherrone Moore and the entire staff continue to excel on the recruiting trail. Keep an eye out for any updates, go blue.
