In this article, I look at some top recruits who are scheduled to be in Ann Arbor over the coming weeks, looking at where Michigan football stands in each recruitment.

Top 250 OL Michael Carroll (PA)

This is another very winnable recruit in which it looks like Michigan football may be the favorite. Early on, this is shaping up to be a Michigan vs Penn State battle. Carroll is set to visit Michigan at the end of March, and this could be a very interesting one.

This is a recruit that I think could be on commitment watch; Michigan football has some momentum here, and Sherrone Moore has preached being aggressive on the recruiting trail. I'd look for the Wolverines to try to win Carroll's services, or at least get him to schedule an official visit. Overall, Michigan looks good in this recruitment.

Top 100 CB Mark Zackery IV

An Indiana native, Notre Dame currently is viewed as the leader in Zackery's recruitment. However, Michigan is gaining some momentum here. Zackery is set to visit Michigan for the Spring Game, and has already set an official visit for June 14-16.

That means that, over the course of two months, Michigan will have Zackery on campus twice. That's huge for momentum. If Lamar Morgan and the rest of the staff can make a big impact here, this is a very winnable recruitment. Michigan can obviously sell defensive and national success, especially when they have a future first round pick in the secondary in Will Johnson.

This is a recruitment that has a lot of potential, and one that I'll definitely be keeping an eye on.
