Michigan football mock draft: Where will the Wolverines be picked in 2024?
Kris Jenkins right now is a definite round-two guy, but depending on how he performs in the Combine, he has the chance to jump to the late first round. His large size coming in at six-foot-three and 305 pounds helps with his ability not to be pushed around and get to his target.
There are a lot of needs the New York Giants have on the offensive side of the ball, but they need help with their pass rush as well. The Giants had one of the worst defenses in football last year and could benefit from a better pass rush.
Jenkins can come out and overpower his blockers to create havoc in the backfield. He can move blockers out of the way, or simply move them into the quarterback to disrupt things that way as well. He needs to be a little more creative on the line however, but that can be reformed and refined in training camps, he struggles with double teams, but at the beginning of his career, he most likely would not have to worry as much about that.
