Michigan Football: 3 takeaways from the NFL draft

2. Multiple Wolverines go in succession on day two
Once Kris Jenkins fell, the dominoes followed on Friday night. He's off to Cincinnati to compete with Joe Burrow and company in the rugged AFC North. Jenkins has a shot to start right away with the loss of D.J. Reader to Detroit. He also gets to meet up with one-time teammates in Ann Arbor, D.J. Turner and Dax Hill.
Mikey Sainristil went directly afterwards at 50 to Washington and is slotted to battle for a starting spot as their primary nickel. He'll join fellow Big Ten alums Jer'Zhan Newton, Benjamin St-Juste, a Wolverine for a short time, Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson. Nick Saban was gushing about his limitless potential.
Then in the third round, a trio of Michigan fooball players went one after another. The legendary Blake Corum went eighty-third overall to Los Angeles. Roman Wilson landed in Pittsburgh to a run-heavy team one pick later. And finally, Zak Zinter closed the run as he went to Cleveland where he can learn from one of the best in the business, Joel Bitonio, and heal up until he's fully ready to go.
