Michigan Football: 3 overreactions from the Minnesota win

When you win like Michigan did on Saturday there are plenty of overreactions to account for. Here's three of them from win number 1,008.

3. Donovan Edwards shouldn't be getting 20 plus touches a game

Patience is the key word when it comes to Edwards. In the biggest games we have seen the best from Edwards and that was the case in the USC win. That could mean that he will go off next week in Husky stadium under the lights, so to say that he is being underutilized makes sense. That makes this an overreaction that doesn't hold any merit. I believe that those who follow him closely, know his best ball is still ahead of him.

The offense lined him up at wideout more on Saturday and it resulted in two grabs. The threat of having him and Colston Loveland out wide with Kalel Mullings in the backfield is something Kirk Campbell is just sinking his teeth into, but defenses know it will be hard to get them the ball with Orji's limitations throwing it.

With the lack of offensive weapons Campbell has to find innovative ways to get him the football. He's too special to waste. Michigan football needs everything they can get out of their offense to pull out a win weekly, so getting Edwards more involved is a no-brainer.
