4. Dusty May Florida Atlantic, East Region
The favorite in the clubhouse depending upon who you ask. May is a Hoosier at heart and could be waiting to take over for Mike Woodson someday. If he would take the Michigan basketball job and the Indiana gig becomes available, then what does he do, jump ship? It would all depend on how he is performing in Ann Arbor if you ask me and if he had serious interest in his alma mater. Of course that all depends on if he accepted Warde Manuel's offer in the first place.
With the negative aura that surrounds the program and Manuel at the moment, would May decline and stay at Florida Atlantic or go somewhere else? Can he do it again as an eight seed this time, and remember he was a bucket away from playing for a national championship at an AAC school. He's 60-12 over the last two seasons and gets to go head-to-head with a Big Ten foe on Friday.
If Dusty May is the No. 1 target of Louisville and Michigan, U of L is the better path for him for numerous reasons, including basketball being No. 2 in Ann Arbor. And if May’s ultimate goal is to return to Indiana, it would be easier to make that move from outside Big Ten.

May should be the number one target at this point, unless Manuel can take a stab at T.J. Otzelberger from Iowa State or rehire John Beilein for a short period of time. Money shouldn't be a problem with Michigan, but are they ready to pony up Otzelberger's buyout if that is indeed the man they want to replace Juwan Howard with his smedium shirts on.
