Big Ten football power rankings after spring portal closes: Did Wolverines get better?

The spring window of the transfer portal is officially closed, so where do the Big Ten teams stand right now?

It hurts to say, but Ohio State does come in at No. 1 in these rankings. simply because of the pickups they had in the winter portal window.

The Buckeyes lost six guys in the spring window and didn't bring anyone in, so that is interesting that they wouldn't want replacements for those that they lost. However, with those they picked up in the winter, they might have felt they didn't need to.

Ohio State will continue to be the team to beat in the Big Ten and with transfer quarterback will Howard from Kansas State officially deciding to stick with the Buckeyes, Ryan Day has his guy leading this team.
