There are stars emerging in the secondary

Jyaire Hill is a great example of why you live some "young mistakes." It was clear that Hill had the tools to be an excellent starting cornerback for Michigan football.

But he didn't play much last season as a freshman. He came into the season inexperienced but it looks like he has figured it out. Hill came up and made a key tackle last week. You can start to see him develop those instincts and on Saturday, he made an incredible interception against Minnesota.

Hill was in one-on-one coverage, did a textbook job of turning his head, made the interception, and got his foot down in bounds. It led to three points for the Wolverines and shows that Hill is a star in the making.

Zeke Berry isn't far behind. He's made a few coverage mistakes, but he ripped the ball away from a Minnesota defender for a turnover. Berry is playing in Mike Sainristil's old spot and it felt like a play Mikey would have made.

At the very least, with Berry and Hill, whatever growing pains remain, will be worth it.
