Can either team impact the QB?

Michigan's pass rush dominated Alabama. But some of that was scheme, as well as the inability of Alabama to adjust. The Wolverines confused the Alabama offensive line pre-snap and got a bunch of free shots at the quarterback.

You hope that Jesse Minter will be able to draw up more plays like that this week. He'll be exceptional all season and has been stellar against elite offenses. Minter has faced Ohio State twice and Alabama and in those three games, none of those teams scored more than 24 points. All of them scored at least 20, but I'd take 24 points allowed on Monday night.

The issue with stopping Washington is that it won't be easy to get to Penix. He's on been sacked 11 times this season which ranks as the fourth-fewest in all of college football. Michigan football is also good at protecting the quarterback and has given up 19 sacks which ranks 29th.

Both offensive lines are good and so are both quarterbacks. It will be interesting to see if either team is able to get home consistently and if so, it could swing the game. It's worth noting that Michigan football is ranked 19th in sacks, while Washington is tied for 114th.
