5 bold predictions for Michigan football vs. Washington
Washington scores under 20
The Huskies are no slouch. There's a reason they are favored to beat Michigan football. Will Rogers has 10 touchdown passes compared to zero interceptions. He's also throwing for 270 yards per game.
Giles Jackson is having a stellar season with over 400 yards as a receiver. Jonah Coleman, the Washington running back is averaging 7.2 yards per game and has 521 yards in five games. The Huskies average 469 yards of total offense and surrender just 249 per game. They ranked 10th in scoring defense (12.06).
Yet, for all the yards, the offense has struggled to score. Washington is scoring just 25 points per game (89th) and haven't scored more than 24 points against three Power-4 opponents (Rutgers, Northwestern and Washington State).
Michigan has allowed three teams to score over 20 points this season and a big part of that has been a lack of complementary football. Hopefully, the offense is functional in both halves on Saturday because unless the defense gets totally gassed, I don't see Washington scoring 20 points.
