4 Michigan football offensive freshmen who are poised to play in 2024
By Nick Popio
4. Jadyn Davis QB
Most of us are old enough to remember when Tate Forcier and Denard Robinson were deemed the saviors of Michigan football after the Steven Threet/Nick Sheridan experiment for a year. Turns out that we all had to be a tad more patient and wait for the Jim Harbaugh/J.J. McCarthy marriage for what we all have been waiting for.
Now the next chosen one has arrived and we'll have to be a little bit more patient once again to see him rock. Jadyn Davis is the next Michigan quarterback who is a first round pick in the waiting. He steps in to an inauspicious situation with Alex Orji the presumed starter and he has a chance to climb the depth chart and be his backup by season's end.
Regardless of what happens, this offensive class, along with Davis will have sky-high expectations to supersede those who came before them. In a win-at-all-cost society, they'll battle tooth and nail to continue the recent success of Michigan football like team 144 did.
